I bought a banjo today
Yeah, that's right laugh all you want but I always wanted one. I have hatchet ass'ed around with friend's banjos but never was competent with one. I have off and on over 50 some years played guitar acoustic and electric, piano and organ, and have a hell of a collection of harmonicas. I have looked and almost bit on a banjo used and new over the years but never took the bait. I inherited my days 12 string mandolin and am doing pretty good with it. Have always loved old timey music and bluegrass and folk.

Anyway retirement is approaching and I found a good deal on a new open back Deering Goodtimes entry level beginner banjo and bit for 399.00. See you on the river
