The draft was not made for casual fans

You know what I'm talking about. Have a nice day!

Uh, yes, there were people that wanted Marcus Peters, and there were people that wanted Chris Conley.

Believe it or not I don't hate this draft.

I do feel like we could have done better. I feel like we missed some early opportunities (given all our draft ammo) but I don't think we took a bust with any of our first four guys...

Denver rookie QB John Elway, on Jack Lambert, after Lambert and the Steelers knocked Elway out of his first game as a pro (1983).

Can't stand the Mitch Morse pick in the 2nd rd. There was just simply no reason for that, would have much rather gambled on La'El Collins in 3rd rd and hope for the best outcome concerning his current legal issues.

Jerod Holliman was there all day too as was Ifo Erekpe Olomu. Yes Olomu had an ACL tear but he was a 1st or 2nd rd talent until his injury...that's a gamble you can take with a 6th rd pick.

I have nothing personal against Sam, but yeah... this thread is a turd.

It assumes way too much and doesnt explain itself, terrible thread for a "welcome back".

The lack of posts tells me I'm right on. I think Milkman would agree.

No, the lack of posts means you've been gone so long that no one knows who the hell you are anymore... that, and the condescending tone of the op is enough to kill any thread.

You're lucky its gotten this many replies afaic.

Coming back after a huge hiatus with "I was a sportswriter" in this place?... lol, you've forgotten where you are.

Not meant to be condescending - just an observation years in the making. Year after year, there's an explosion of anger in the individual player threads. It's a major jump to conclusions by people who think they know what's going on.

Do you think this is news? It's the same thing every year.
