That was the Patriots best shot...KC rolls them in the playoffs

Belichick had 10 days to devise something that would confuse Mahomes. It worked for one half of a game. It took an early INT, returned to the Patriots 4, two easy missed TDs, another INT before half and Speaks letting Brady go...just so they could win by 3 points at home. It also took zero penalty yards.

Chiefs were without Berry, Sorenson and Houston.

Chiefs scored 31 points after half...

That was NE's best shot...it's on tape now. It wont fool Mahomes again...

KC is going to roll them in the post-season....

Just like we were supposed to lose to KC just because we lost to the Jags who KC beat.

You guys are so ****ing salty.

Agreed. It will be fun. The playoffs are a fun time of the year for Pats fans. KC fans, whose team has 1 victory in 25 years? Not so much.

Yeah, history is fun. It's even better looking to the future, especially if you're us.

Just like you could barely beat a "soft" team, after a 15 point lead at half time, at home.

To continue bringing up what Alex Smith did in the playoffs, either you can't grasp the difference between the quarterbacks or you're a petulant child. Both?

Do you think you could just plug in, say, Derek Carr for Brady and the results would be the same?

That’s what always gets me. They do everything they can to say we were overrated or terrible or whatever. So they needed as last second field goal to beat a terrible team at home after having a 15 point lead. Doesn’t say too much positive about their team.

Hi Guys, Pats fan here and first time poster.

The Chiefs are one of my favorite franchises outside of NE. Gotta love historic Arrowhead, the red in the crowd, football oval scoreboard, team and fans.

Great game Sunday took it to the limit, great 2nd half. We were fortunate to pull it out and only be a 1/2 game behind as opposed 3-1/2 games behind.

I think our defense could of played better, typically BB has his defender's play back and not give up the big play, seems he was not doing this on Sunday.

Time will tell down the road if this game is a sign of the future. I like the Pats this season, but our D has been torched a few times, hopefully we can pull it together, which we generally do, but time will tell for this season.

Mahomes looks like the real deal, good luck with him this year and moving forward. At the same time though it is his rookie season and we will see if he can keep it up and/or teams get a book on him.

You guys got the Bengals next week and you need to close the deal on that game or you could be the #3 seed this time next week. Having lost to both the Pats and Cinn.

Be fun to meet again, regardless of the location.

I do think though that the Pats will give you all a tougher game than you think come January.

Btw, Brady is the definition of soft. Goes fetal every time a defender comes within 5 ft. Avoids contact like the plague.

Plus he's such a child he couldn't even give credit to Mahomes. Jealousy, clearly.

Enjoy the last year or so of competitiveness.

KC will own the AFC for years. Accept and move on.

You'll have to forgive the Chiefs fans...they don't really know how to handle winning.

I don't know, just like how Bronco fans can't handle the recent losing?
40+ years in the wilderness will do that to any fanbase. We are no different.

Haha, I hear yah, I am sure most of them do not mean what they say. Glad to see KC winning. Was here last week and saw a thread about the Chiefs going to spank the Pats and was fun reading all of the posts from the posters . . .

However, for those who have the Chiefs in the Super Bowl, we will have to wait and see what the rest of the season brings . . .

What is it, 6 or 7 straight against the Donx?

I can't remember, I'm so used to it.

He may avoid contact, i got no problem. Discretion is the better part of valor, i want to see him (and other key players) be healthy for the next play. So one play does not matter to me. Some players (and QBs) try to make that one extra play and are injured or end up on IR, in both cases are of no use to the team

Actually, he came over at the end of the game to congratulate Mahomes and then left the field.

Great to see KC with a keeper at QB. But lets not crown them yet, we are only 7 games in, time will tell who rules the roost in the years to come.
