The race for the #1 seed

KC 9-1
NE 7-3
LAC 7-2
PIT 6-2-1

Any number of Chiefs wins and Patriots losses equaling 5 and they clinch.

To the 'ship.

So irrelevant that you included them in your own "race for the #1 seed" post.

Now we have the advantage of the Patriots and Steelers playing each other and it doesn't really matter who wins. Either of them getting the loss will be fine.

I'm rooting for an injury-riddled tie.

Or a meteor strike at midfield.

Either works.

Chargers are FAR from being irrelevant

They’re stacked on both sides of the ball.

This is the best team Andy Reid has ever had in KC.

He's won NINE in a row against the Chargers.

Chargers play us at home on a Thursday night. There is no better home advantage in the NFL than playing at home on a Thursday night. With the short week, the time lost to travel and schedule disruption really make for a huge home field advantage. If we played LAC at home on a Sunday, id be more concerned.

Their defense is not stacked, come on now. They are an average defensive team.

They lose a game or two every year that they have no business losing. Those have not occurred yet. One might happen today

Chargers have a rough 2nd half schedule. Once they start beating teams with a winning record I'll worry.
