****2012-2013 Fantasy Football Repository Thread****

I did my first year of fantasy baseball -- I cannot tell you how much I'm ready for FF after that cluster****.

I figured this would be a good thread prior to most team's drafts.

When the time comes we can start a "rate my team" thread, and also a "sit/start thread."

So, how many leagues are you joining?

What intrigues you the most?

What player/s flying under the radar do you think will impact the FF world the most?

Also, cheap plug --- Mr. Plow's league needs one more player. It's a fun IDP league. I'm sure he'll be along to promote it -- we only want handsome, well hung gentlemen like ourselves. It'd be fun to get a CPer into that last spot.

Just interested, did the expansion teams get to pick a player from each roster, like they do in the NFL? That would have been interesting. Each team gets to protect five players and the expansion teams get to each pick one player from each team, if they want.

Nah, it was a little worse for our guys. We cut our rosters from 40 players to 28. We then held the expansion draft for those 2 teams to get up to 28 players and then had the rookie draft that was 4 rounds. All together there are less players on rosters now than what we had last year (10 teamsX40 players) vs. (12X32). In order to get them up to speed a little quicker we did double their free agent money. My league bids on free agents instead of using a waiver, the original 10 teams got 1K, the expansion teams have 2K.

We will probably tweak some stuff next year and let them stay at a higher free agent budget, but one of the teams nearly won his game because he had Kevin Smith and RG3 playing..

It depends on who you both have. I would give up a lot for Gronk especially since Hernandez is hurt. He is going to have far better production then any other TE now. I had Graham as the best until Hernandez went down. Do you have enough WR Debth to make up the difference?

I need to do something here about my RB situation. I think I want to trade either Bowe or Austin for a RB. What kind of value do you think I could get right now?

For the record, I'm 2-0 and the 2nd highest scoring team, but I think that my WR position could be solid if I lost Austin or Bowe, and filled in Mike Williams and then got a RB out of it so I could have Lynch, Smith, and one more sure starter. I'm not confident at all in Redman or Stewart, and I don't know why the **** I started Knowshon. I must have been smoking the good stuff.

I would think you could get a top tier 2 guy, like a DeMarco Murray type?

The guy with Demarco Murray has Ray Rice and Trent Richardson. His WRs are Garcon, AJ Green, and Maclin. Not sure if he'd go for it, but that's exactly who I was thinking (Murray).

Ok....so he turned it down. Here's a question though.

Does anyone expect Finley to have a good season? I've got Olsen on my team and I got a trade offer that would have me giving up Kendall Hunter for Dennis Pitta. Yeah I would have 3 TEs....but obviously I would be trying to dump Finley for something else. Maybe Finley and Charles for a better RB or Finley and Green for a better WR.

Am I over thinking it....and I should just hold onto Finley?
