Watching him and Bray play you can just see the talent level difference. I actually think Bray could be a good QB if he has a top 3 OL but Pat is just a different level of talent. He's not ripped but just a solid built dude. I'm starting to see the Big Ben comparisons.
Yeah, it's a great comparison. Big Ben's going to be a walking corpse when he retires. Favre already is. I don't think it's something you can coach out of Mahomes nor would I necessarily want to. He's a tough tough kid but I wouldn't wish that on anyone and hope he can find ways to take care of himself. Favre was hopped up on all kinds of painkillers, and he's tough as nails.

All of the QBs did well. Smith looking better than ever and actually throwing deep. Mahomes looks poised and is fantastic throwing on the run. Footwork could improve. Bray very strong arm however he gets sacked by the air

1 quarter.

Times 4 is 40-56 for 352 yards and 8 TD's!

Mahomes reminds me of Russell Wilson. I really think he can be just as good eventually.

The only reason Mahomes yards per attempt was so low is because Reid had him throwing a shit ton of screens.

WCO!! Who's calling the plays? Reid or Nagy? Seems like When Smith was in he was throwing deep and when Mahomes was in it was just screen passes

I mentioned before that every time you heard a plea to attack and throw deep, it wasn't Reid. It wasn't Childress or Pederson. It was Nagy. I think Nagy is a much more aggressive coordinator than what we've had. Alex has thrown two perfect lob passes the first 2 games and his first TD was very un-Alex like aggressiveness. Maybe it's a mix of Nagy + knowing his job is on the line.

But fool me twice, shame on me. Alex has been in this league for 10 years and I have a really hard time believing he's going to change his ways.

Favre a corpse? Last I saw him on TV he had super powers from his CopperFit implants.

It's more than just stats

Some of the plays he made Alex would never have made.

Mahomes can make spectacular plays that barely any QB in the league will attempt. Shouldn't be a criticism of Alex. The big question with Pat is gonna be the more "routine" situations.

True but did you see Mahomes tonight? He has plenty enough speed to be elusive and move around.
