Mahomes wants to be a Chief for Life
https://www.wibw.com/content/news/Ag...507315871.html
KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KWCH) -- Kansas City Chiefs' quarterback Patrick Mahomes wants to spend his entire career with the team, according to his agent Leigh Steinberg. Farzin Vousoughian with Arrowhead Addict discussed Mahomes' future with the Chiefs during a recent interview with Steinberg on The Chiefs Zone podcast. "That is the intention and that is the plan," Steinberg said on the podcast. "I don't even think it has entered his mind that he would play anywhere else, but there (in Kansas City)." Kansas City chose Mahomes with the 10th pick of the 2017 NFL draft. He is currently on this third year of his rookie contract worth $16,425,786. Don't care if it is a Q. |

Bless you.
Just kidding. I think this is the same CP poster Farzin who did a startup Chiefs podcast back in the day when podcasts weren't that popular? If I recall, he got a couple media internships after that, but that was years ago. Good to see he's still in the game and even got a big interview score like Leigh Steinberg. |

He's such a perfect fit for the city and the city for him. KC is a great place to make the transition from small town to big city. It tends to have "country manners" for a big city and a guy like Mahomes can just be himself.
As life goes on, he and the missus will travel the country and the world, seeing all that it has to offer, and be happy to come back to their big home town. They're already building their relationship here and soon they'll have their family. The BBQ, ketchup, and gold ingots will flow. What more could the young man want?

Until he asks for 35 million a year and the Chiefs offer 22 million and it becomes a business and he has to put food on the table for his family.

I know, I'm being too pessimistic. I edited it down a little.
You know it's the truth though. Rarely does it ever turn out like Patriots/Brady. Later we are going to find out that the Patriots have been slipping millions under the table to Brady and it was all just bullshit in New England too. |

Oil, natural gas, and the transportation thereof. Tom Brady isn't the only NFL QB that can start a foundation and do the "slippity-doo" dollar dance, my friend.

Why would the Chiefs offer him less than what Joe Flacco made this year? They will give him the biggest contract ever. Pretty simple.
