The Cardinals firing HC Steve Wilks is a “forgone conclusion”

Sign me up for Wilks as Sutton’s replacement

I don't know about that. Everyone knows the Chiefs will load our payroll with offense. But I guess its stable and being just average will be praised.

True...no matter what, you'd have a hard time being worse than 31st in the league.

Keeping Sutton would piss off any fan who's paying attention. I don't know what the blow back would be for keeping Sutton but I would hope it would be dramatic.

Wilks strikes me as a good DC who wasn't suited to run the whole team. Definitely worth looking into.

I'd rather have Warpaint be the DC out there stamping her hooves than bring the Tampa 2 back to KC.

Also consider his Asst HC inside LB coach Mike Caldwell. Played and started coaching under Reid in Philadelphia. Intern, to QC to LBs. Working under Jim Johnson and with Spagnuolo and Leslie Frazier then McDermott. Rivera was his position coach when he played. Then he followed Bowles ever since Reid’s last year with eagles.

I don’t prefer a first time DC with how close we could be to a SB but I might be able to get behind a Caldwell hiring if they also brought in Spagnuolo or Chuck Pagano with their DB background as senior defense asst to be in the press box and on the headset helping Caldwell as he grows. He’s played and coached with a lot of talented defensive minds.

Hey man how goes it? Here’s the first I’ve heard this name mentioned for an NFL gig

Green Bay Packers: “It’s almost a lock the Packers will contact” Northwestern head coach Pat Fitzgerald about their head coaching job, Tom Silverstein of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel shares.
