Intersting that people are so confident about that @buffalo,@miami, game

also odd that (for now) people have more confidence we will beat oakland in OAK than at home...

Vs NFCW it is possible to go 4-0

Seattle isn't nearly as good on the road as they are at home, this trend will remain true.

Arizona, while they have a good defense and great WRs, they also have Carson Palmer at QB and will be missing all of their impact players in their front 7 excluding Campbell. Their OL is just average at best so we should be able to hit Palmer early and often, which will throw him off his game.

St. Louis, while they very well may tear up our OL, their secondary is only average and they don't have a starting caliber QB.

SF will be the hardest one because, while they won't have Aldon Smith or Bowman, they still have Justin Smith, Patrick Willis, Brooks, and likely McDonald since it may take a year to suspend him. Their WR core is also arguably the best in the league right now, that's without including Vernon Davis in the mix. They have a great OL and Kaepernick will have all day to stare at his 1st read who will get open fairly easily against our secondary. The game is still winnable.

We'll more likely go 2-2 vs the NFC West, but 4-0 is not out of the question. Of course, that is entirely dependent on which Chiefs offense and which Chiefs defense decides to show up during those games.

I'm not as down on this team and season as most people on this site are.

I have the Chiefs finishing at 11-5, which easily gets them a Wildcard

vs. Tennessee Sun. Sept. 7. Win
at. Denver Sun. Sept. 14 Loss
at Miami Sun. Sept. 21 Win
vs. New England Mon. Sept. 29 Loss
at San Francisco Sun. Oct. 5 Loss
at San Diego Sun. Oct. 19 Win
vs St. Louis Sun. Oct. 26 Win
vs. New York Jets Sun. Nov. 2 Win
at Buffalo [post-bye] Sun. Nov. 9 Win
vs. Seattle Sun. Nov. 16 Loss
at Oakland Thurs. Nov. 20 Win
vs. Denver Sun. Nov. 30 Loss
at Arizona Sun. Dec. 7 Win
vs. Oakland Sun. Dec. 14 Win
at Pittsburgh Sun. Dec. 21. Win
vs. San Diego Sun. Dec. 28 Win

Thoughts

San Diago isn't as great as they are being billed IMO. I am not afraid of Rivers, that wide receiver corp, their running backs, or defense.

Oakland while they are going young at QB, that means Carr is going to make mistakes. This is also an old team, which means they could be beat up before we play them.

If I was to give the Chiefs another loss it would be the Rams. I think they could be really good even without Bradford. Still, that is a game we can win, along with Arizona.

Under Reid we have been a much better road team, and that makes a huge difference in your record. I think this team gets four road wins.

My brain wants to say 6-10, but every time I do the exercise I end up at 8-8.
