With a defensive backfield featuring Prince Amukamara, Major Wright, and Captain Munnerlyn, Ventura now boasts the highest-ranked backfield in the league.

Talib is going to put this defense over the top.

There will be no more flim-flammery from Alex D. Smith.

Damn - you're not kidding; that's one old !@#$ing team.

Better win it fast. My core built around:

Andrew Luck: 24
Dez Bryan: 25
Percy Harvin: 25
Ruben Randle: 22
Jordan Cameron: 25
Anthony Castonzo: 25
Anthony Davis: 24
Robert Quinn: 23
Chandler Jones: 23
Gerald McCoy: 25
Earl Thomas: 24
Robert Irvin: 26

Isn't going to go away anytime soon. I've staggered my contracts so that not a single one of those guys will hit FA status before 31 years old.

My philosophy is I have Tom ****ing Brady, so I might as well take on any other old timers that want to win a ring.

As soon as I drafted him, age became no deterrent on any player in the draft or FA.

As an aside, I can't believe we're going into our third year of this. It's a phenomenal time waster.

As well they should.

And Revis was a friggen God last year in Sandbox.

That Wichita squad had no business being as bad as it was last season; you have a lot to work with there. That should probably be a 10 win team or better.

Nope. With our system you know the injuries beforehand so you have to fill the gaps.

Though when I think about it, I guess we could still have an injured reserve. The free agency period is playing out a little differently than I'd conceived, so ... we'll put it on the list for discussion. It won't happen this season, though.

Shit.
This would be nice to know.
I'm not just acting cute in League 2.
I have more season ending injuries than I can realistically replace with a 53 man roster.
It would be nice to know how to proceed. If there's no IR, then **** it. That team just got put on full blown tank mode this year.
If I'm going to have to play more than half the season with "street free agent" at five different positions just to keep the players I have under contract on my team, why wouldn't I start everyone out of position and blatantly aim for the #1 overall? This isn't real life, I don't give a shit what the fans of my team think.

Hello!

You play.

To win.

The game.

I also suspect that we all think we've got a lot of season-ending injuries. I'm cursing at losing my LT in League 2, and all my CBs got destroyed in League 1. That's the fun part about free agency in this system, though. As your current guys get injured, your free agency needs evolve.

Right, I like that we have free agency to address major injuries, but I would love to address those injuries without having to cut players. I wouldn't want to have to cut Ryan Clady because he got injured, but it also doesn't make sense to cut his backup since I might need the backup this year, and I had to sign someone new as a replacement, so I'm stuck with too many LTs and not a great solution for managing the roster.
