Chargers are cursed.

Chargers CB Jaylen Watkins suffered a torn ACL in Saturday's preseason game against the Seahawks.

I agree. He should have been fired after last season. I just laugh at the cats here that bring up stats to show how "good" Sutton has been in the past regarding scoring defense. Deal is when teams move readily between the 20's effects the games in many ways - especially win it's a good team doing the moving or a shitty team that you let hang around. Both can find a way to beat you in the end... How many times have we see the Chiefs needing just ONE stop to win a game and fail ??? Just look back to this last playoff debacle for an answer.

Stats can be skewed to support an argument, and they are with Sutton.

I was arguing with a friend at work about DFS.

We got on SD and his take was "THIS is the year they put it all together. No big injuries."

I told him they always have a big injury and they always shoot themselves in the foot and underachieve.

He said "not this year!"

We bet $10 on.

He offered to pay me yesterday if I wanted it...

Denver rookie QB John Elway, on Jack Lambert, after Lambert and the Steelers knocked Elway out of his first game as a pro (1983).

There isn't much positivity around that organization.
It's kind of funny and kind of sad, but I was watching the local Fox 5 morning show here in San Diego and they were giving away preseason ticket to the Los Angeles.....Rams! They were also hyping an upcoming game for the Rams.

I realize its probably just smart marketing by the Rams organization to poach the San Diego fan base as meager as it is/was. Very similar to the Chiefs going after the St. Louis crowd.

Has KC been doing that? Was curious how they would handle that.

There was mention of it when the Rams packed their bags. I don't know how aggressive they were.

They started that shit last year, man.

I was making fun of the Chargers for it. As soon as it was announced that they were moving the Rams swooped into the SD market. Within weeks, Fox 5 was announcing themselves as the home of the Rams.

SD's ownership is a ****ing joke. They literally surrendered this market.
