Not speaking to the veracity of the statement made by Trump, but the bolded is an answer to a claim not made. Unless of course you consider purchasing energy the same as producing it...which in case firmly solidifies the claims that you're a ****ing retard.

But Trumper's will eat it up and white knight for a Russian puppet.

Hey Dumbass, will the completion of the pipeline with Russia greatly increase the amount of energy imported from Russia and send billions of dollars to the country NATO was formed to defend against?

How many of NATO countries are budgeting 2% of GDP for defense, which is required in the Treaty?

How many soldiers does Germany now have? How many tanks?

It solidifies the claim you don't know shit about what your talking about.

I'll make it simple, since you seem easily confused.

The agreement Trump and the idiots who believe him are talking about is an agreement to buy natural gas from Russia, not energy. See, Natural gas is a natural resource used in energy production, not actual energy itself.

So yes, Trump and the idiots who believe him are wrong right out of the gate with "buy energy from Russia".

But, let us ignore that little technicality, most Trumpers will.

Lets have energy mean both actual energy and resources to make energy. It is still a completely untrue claim because the resources to make energy that is bought from Russia makes up less than 20 percent of Germany's energy production.

Does that help?

Obama tried to destroy NATO when he let Ukraine be invaded by Putin, causing all the adjacent NATO countries to be scared we wouldn't invoke Aritcle 5 if it happened to them.

Obama simply doesn't value allies. He doesn't understand how important it is to stand up to Russia.

2 percent isn't required by the Treaty.

That is like the third completely false thing you have said in the thread.

You've struck out. Come back to the thread when you have even a slight clue of how NATO works.

Not according to the communique they all signed. The goal doesn't appear to have changed at all.

https://www.nato.int/cps/en/natohq/o...xts_156624.htm

Quote:
All Allies have started to increase the amount they spend on defence in real terms and some two-thirds of Allies have national plans in place to spend 2% of their Gross Domestic Product on defence by 2024.
And Macron doesn't seem to agree:

https://www.axios.com/macron-refutes...d2355101f.html

Quote:
French President Emmanuel Macron told reporters Thursday that NATO leaders did not agree to increase defense spending to more than 2% of GDP, citing a "very detailed" communique signed yesterday that confirms the goal of 2% by 2024, reports the AP.

Why it matters: Macron's comments refute President Trump's claim to reporters that "everyone's agreed to substantially up their commitment." The French president also denied reports that Trump told leaders the U.S. "would go it alone" if they didn't meet their spending targets, claiming that Trump never, "in public or in private, threatened to withdraw from NATO."

Fortunately, Trump gave up and declared victory without actually accomplishing Putin's goal of destroying NATO.

At least not yet.
In summary the OP is complete bullshit and upon realizing this you have backtracked to something Trump said while campaigning that has absolutely NOTHING to do with the subject as evidence of some type of victory for you?

Got it.

You are confusing the percent of natural gas Germany gets from Russian with the percent of energy Germany gets from natural gas.

Nice face plant.
