I think they feel obligated to enforce this largely due to drizzle-down from the NFL business, lately.
Winston seems to be sort of an ass though. I don't know him nor have I paid a bunch of attention to any of the stories - but out of the corner of my eye he appears to be a prick. |

In all seriousness... So far, the ncaa has laid the hammer down on the big 10. Shrugged their shoulders at Oregon. Shrugged at Miami. They set the bar with Penn state. Where does this fit in?

You have likely followed the others more closely so wondering if the difference being some not so good stuff happened vs. a program was found to be involved in covering it up?

Yeah, that's about right. They seem to lay the hammer down hard on cover ups. Which makes the system a complete joke. Basically, you can break all the rules but when the ncaa finds out, just comply and you'll be fine.

Good, rake the ****er over the coals. However, everyone knows what's going to gappen. They're going to hold a "hearing" and then officially decide not to do anything because they want to win another championship and keep the money flowing.

It doesn't sound like Winston is the one on trial here. Fsu is, or should be. But given the laughable way the ncaa handled Oregon, Auburn, and Miami, who the **** knows how they will act.

Going defensive: FSU releases timeline of Winston investigation http://floridastate.247sports.com/Ar...ation-31902948 Sounds to me like they actually did act on it. Now UF has dismissed their recent QB for similar allegations. |
