The future Superman vs Thawne battle will be interesting especially if it's E-1 Kal-El

I'd get a different actor, and younger too (Smallville throwback) which would give Kara a maternal purpose when she breaches dimensions.
With a younger actor you could recon his parentage with Kal having a different mother or He's the bastard son of Zor-El

Greg Berlanti is taking both over in the interim, which is probably the best thing for those shows. Berlanti was behind the first season and the initial seasons of Arrow (IE, the good stuff).

It was explained in Legends, but since time traveling was part of history itself him dying in The Flash was inconsequential. He was being chased by the Black Flash through that arc where he teamed up with Damien and Merlin.

I hate how the Flash/Arrow has turned into a bunch of ****ing soap operas. I tried watching the crossover event, but I just can't... So sappy.
