Flight simulation
Has anyone ever built a flight simulator for home?

I've been checking out saitek flight controls... They seem pretty legit ...

I have Microsoft FSX with world map pack...

Thoughts or ideas?

Can't wait til Ace Combat 7 PS4 VR comes out.

Not really a sim, has more of a arcade feel to it, but it's still fun.

Wonder if there's a stick/rudder pedals set that will be compatible with it.

Thats what I was looking for. Pretty sure they have an F-22 simulator they make too. That's some serious coin for any simulator but jesus christ. If I had one of those I'd prob be found after a few months sitting in the seat, hands on the stick, machine on, my body a dead, dried up shrunken corpse.
Going on memory I think the price was $1O,OOO to $15,OOO for a complete F=22 simulator. Too f'ing cool.

I know this company makes a F35 sim. Not sure about F22. Though I'd like to see one.

Yea, my mistake. It was / is an F35 sim.

They look fricken awesome. They way it's set up with the three monitors, seat, stick and throttle controls, touch screen for everything else besides those.
I've had to put these sims in the 'Lottery money' wish list.

Dude, I just sold a mechanical Cessna control setup on ebay 3 years ago.


A guy bought it that flies RC planes. The mechanical feedback is way better than digital.

I got the set from our local high school. They gave it to me.

Well I have collected the PC, monitor and FSX.... NOW I need all the Saitek controls, panels, etc and 3 32 inch monitors...

Oh and some Ram and couple killer video cards...

So about 25% there and have spent $0
