Fun movie. I guess I appreciated it as a sheer manifestation of art, but I don't see why it's getting such great reviews. I guess it succeeded in being what it wanted to be, but I didn't really connect emotionally, and the complete lack of plot was disturbing.

We need some pics of the first scene that they were in. That was really the only scene where we could do an apple to apples comparison. I criticize the filming for limiting our ability to compare and contrast.

Most of what I've read/watched has reviewed it very positively. And I mean beyond summer action flick enjoyable...

I'll say this, if you liked the original Road Warrior, you will like this movie. It's almost an homage to all the things that made RW great.

The plot and dialog are weak. But that's no different from any of the Mad Max films.

I'm not a "summer action movie" fan. Action and explosions etc are typically not enough for me to consider a movie good. But in this movie it was enough. I'll also add that I'm a bit of a chauvinist in that I almost never like strong female roles in movies, but Theron's character works to a degree that my only comparison would be Sigourney Weaver as Ripley. She doesn't come off as phony, she exudes genuine toughness.

I'm surprised that the film is getting the high ratings that it is from the general public, but this movie is a definite winner for Road Warrior fans.

Saw it last night.

I thought it was bad ass.

I liked the lack of dialogue. It seems fitting for an environment where there isn't going to be standardized education and suspicion of everyone and their motives.

Only problem I had was the supposed scarcity of gasoline but everyone was running around with vehicles that would guzzle a ****load of gas.

Just saw it, honestly wasn't expecting too much but the reviews had me interested. I loved it. From the acting, to the setpieces, to the action, to the soundtrack, everything was great. It's not a 9.7 out of 10 but it definitely is a 9 out of 10. I enjoyed it more than Age of Ultron, not by a ton, but I found it more enjoyable and more worth my money. I'll buy it when it comes out on blu-ray.
