The first issue of Science magazine in the month of the Chiefs Super Bowl win depicted models of one of the proposed SuperSonic Transports (SST, Boeing 2707-300).

http://science.sciencemag.org/content/by/year/1970

Here are more images of that aircraft:
Images of Boeing 2707-300

Given that back then, there was so much optimism about the future of SuperSonic Transportation for passengers, that KCI was intended to be for SST, and that in the nearly half-century drought since the Chiefs were in the Super Bowl the SST idea went from a big idea to a half-realized accomplishment (the Concorde) that has now stopped flying, I would consider putting an image of a SST model on the model train commemorating the Chiefs greatest moment.

As Yogi Berra was reported to say, the future ain't what it used to be.

Thank you.

69 was a magical year. Man on the moon,Woodstock. And I found this bit about 1969

The first communications are sent through the ARPANET on October 29th, 1969.

Another commemorative symbol could be Redwood trees, based on a famous quote from Vikings QB Joe Kapp after the game and included in this excerpt from "page 390" of the "2009 Kansas City Chiefs Media Guide" (http://prod.static.chiefs.clubs.nfl....ocs/honors.pdf)

A grove of over 40 stately Giant Redwoods was planted in the Southeast corner of the Truman Sports Complex on April 15, 2002 in conjunction with the Chiefs 40th Anniversary Season in Kansas City. The selection of the tree species by Founder Lamar Hunt originated from a statement made by Vikings QB Joe Kapp following Super Bowl IV: “The Chiefs defensive line was very active and looked like a Redwood Forest.” The “Chiefs Honor Grove” features permanent markers honoring the team's Hall of Fame players, whose names are listed on the façade of Arrowhead Stadium. During the Chiefs Alumni Weekend each year, an additional tree is planted in honor of the most recent Chiefs Hall of Fame inductee.
If you go to the bottom of page 390 in the cited URL--which only contains pages 373 to 408 of the Media Guide, the chapter on Honors, so it's not too long--you'll find an logo for the Honors Grove. That chapter is worth perusing, anyway, because it has a lot of information on Chiefs all-time greats, a lot of them veterans of Super Bowl IV.

I have to say, though, that I've not seen the Honors Grove and do not even know if it's still there. I would imagine it is, but it's bizarre that only a few webpages seem to mention it, according to a Google search. Perhaps it has been renamed?

Looking at Google Maps satellite view there is some kind of picnic looking area in the southeast corner between Dubiner Circle and Sportsman Drive.
