They really did have that nice RC Car sector of the store. They had some decent builds, i mean - the best???? no. But good enough - especially being it was near House of Hooch on 7hwy - which was about 2 blocks from the Gummo-type neighborhood I grew up in. In Blue Springs of course.

Heh I'm not surprised at this. I was considering going to work for them as a regional manager 6 years ago and flew into Dallas for a final interview. I sat down with all their top brass and asked a lot of questions I didn't like the answers to.

I turned them down on the spot, jumped a cab to the airport and caught an early flight out of there. When I got home I told my wife that the company was run by a bunch of outdated cavemen with no vision of the future and that they wouldn't be around long if they didn't change their business model. To be honest I'm surprised it took this long for them to go under.

That and the pricing of full electronic devices is so cheap now... back in the day it actually was fiscally beneficial to repair something... In today's climate, you just throw the device out and buy a new one.
