Incredibly, I think the ropes actually saved him. Had he fallen to the floor it might've been over.

Apparently Grimes did try to tell New Jack he didn't want to do it once they were up there. That's according to New Jack. And New Jack threw him anyways.

New Jack is a legitimate psychopath. I wonder how he isn't locked up.

Here he is legitimately beating the shit out of a 60+ year old man because he wasn't happy with his selling. Starts to happen at around the 3 minute mark. Baseball bat to the head type stuff.

Here he is stabbing another wrestler multiple times during the match. Starts around the 1 minute mark.

New Jack sends a wrestler to the hospital after the kid kicked out when New Jack repeatedly told him to take it home.

That was horriffic...ECW dodged a huge bullet on that one considering Mass Transit forged his paperwork and told Jack to gig him.

It was still ridiculous though....

From what I read, the ring was set up wrong, the ropes were causing whiplash, I am guess that and the kick did it.. Multiple wrestlers were hurt that night..

They're actually saying it was the botched scissors kick, it did something to his neck then he got back into the ring when Rey drop kicked him the force from it did it. He landed on the rope beneath his arms. The ropes really weren't a cause. You can say Konnan shaking him was worse then landing on the ropes and then "tossing " him onto the mat

They didnt support his neck out all. He wasn't stabblized by a neck brace.
