What a great season he has had.

14 sacks! with yet two games to play. That's not too far from Aaron Donald who is regarded as arguably the best player in the league.

This might very well be the best season of his career in terms of sack numbers, a bit like Houston and his 22 sack season.

It is just a shame that it is being lost in a defensive unit that cannot stop a nosebleed.

We still don't know if we are keeping Ford next year or not. That said when Houston was sick Ford replacement him at LOLB and was decent. He did get lost against the run a few times but unless you are letting Ford go, that's where he should play. I don't want Houston's broken knees hobbling around trying to cover tight ends anymore.

There may be some merit to questions about his commitment to discipline against the run, but in this arena ball era... I'll gladly take that pass rush ferocity over the occasional lack of being scheme sound
