They were pretty unbearable and ignorant, but it seems they show up less often than locusts.

Say wut?

I mean we have KU, why have something that can't keep up to the tradition of basketball?

Just send all the KU grads, maybe a few Cats, possibly a few Tigger's and the crowd will come to watch all of the NBA stars. Just say it slowly, the Kansas City Jaycats.

It should be noted that the next major team to come to KC needs to be named the Monarchs, no matter what sport.

Cardinals fan chiming in on KC being able to support another major sports team after their city fails to support and loses major sport team . . . .

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_o...ndance_figures

The Rams finished bottom 5 in attendance their last 6 years there. Maybe they’re a good ‘baseball’ town, but a shitty sports town overall.

There’s no definitive way to conclude KC wouldn’t support a modern NBA team, especially when you consider the Kansas City and surrounding areas/states passion for college basketball.

Yep. I agree. I think alot of Kansas City people dislike NBA because they aren't exposed to it. Once you get a team, that will surely change especially with so many basketball fans in the area. If you like college basketball, there i no reason you won't love NBA once you have a dog in the fight.

I've been hearing that KC was going to get a NBA team for as long as I have lived here...right after the Kings left.

I sincerely doubt that it will ever happen - Not that I care - I HATE the NBA...LOVE College hoops though - go figure....

I'd support an NBA franchise over NHL.

But I think in order for it to succeed long term they'd have to win right out of the gate.

I just think it's something that would die off considerably after the initial honeymoon stage...that is unless they're winning.

The attendance is considerably down this year for the Royals. It was down last year for the Chiefs.
KC has already lost an NBA team.
I love the Chiefs and Kaufman is a very nice stadium so don't misunderstand what I am about to say, maybe it is because of the history of the Chiefs and Royals.
It seems that KC is a city where professional leagues put teams with owners that don't have the top notch drive, or whatever it is, to win consistent championships or that is always making noise deep in the playoffs at least.

Legendary

Bray has appeared in only one game, failing to complete his only pass attempt last year in Kansas City's season finale. He spent the 2015 and 2016 seasons on injured reserve.
