***OFFICIAL TYLER BRAY QBOTF HOPE THREAD***

For all things Tyler Bray since he's already signed. Place to discuss his chances of success, his inevitable success, and his future elite status.

Pros:
Height
Weight
Cannon Arm
Can't Trick Shot
Not a Hippie

Cons:
Maturity (correctable)
Motivation (correctable)
Overconfidence (debatable con)

Final Verdict:
He's Today's Brett Favre at age 21.

Today's Brett Favre as in all his talent and Favre's personality. Favre knows he's accomplished great things and has every reason to be cocky and immature and take pictures of his dong and send them to babes. Except Bray has accomplished nothing and needs to be taught.

Let's Discuss!

Rookie Practice Day 1 Photos:

I can see Kniles lined up in the backfield and sprinting deep. Bray unleashes a 60 yard bomb into his hands where he fumbles at the 5 yard line to end the SuperBowl

Just curious, has any undrafted rookie QB gone on to be a full time starter in the NFL?

Kansas and Mizzou would be wise to legalize the green stuff, just for him. They could call it the Bray Ammendment.

Keep in mind, he said that over a month ago. not that it really makes a difference since it is a stupid statement to make. I'd be curious to see if he would make the same statement today being undrafted.

An UDFA to start as a rookie? I dunno. But Tony Romo was undrafted.

It's early, and I haven't had coffee yet, so it's entirely possible that this whole thread is nothing more than an epic troll. On the chance that it's not, all I can say is

Undrafted QB, as a QBotF, if anyone is seriously thinking this please post just quote this post so I know not to take you seriously at all, ever again.

This is going to be like Brokey and Stanzi all over again.

I have to say I'm really optimistic here. Some people just thrive in some places and my gut here is that KC is a perfect situation for him. If I were Andy I would get Emmit Thomas and Led Dawson to educate him about our history and rivalry. I hope he gets to meet Brett and all to grasp how much the city loves a champion. Getting passed over has to humble him a little, but I disagree with others who say he should have stayed in school. Getting out of there is the best thing for a kid like this. This is Childress's project. We have a very unique opportunity to bring this guy along right and be competitive at the same time. I do not think he is going to be a bust. You have to love some of this guys nerve, like saying the SEC is just a little behind the NFL. It's a LOT easier to handle getting humbled yet again when the spotlight isn't on you for keepers. To be honest this is the guy I wanted all along...provided we got a chance to let him sit for awhile, learn and grow up. We've seen other stupid kids but something tells me this guy is smart enough, knowing his physical skills, that if he turns it around now he is going to make a ton of money down the line. This was just a brilliant move by Reid and Dorsey.

Patterson and Hunter (along with the Vols coaches) HAD to have thrown him under the bus

every team interviewing Patterson or Hunter probably started it off with "so what do you really think of your QB" and they probably just shit on him.

I guess I wouldnt say throw him under the bus, but if he was a huge douche and rubbed everyone the wrong way, than naturally that collective will tell scouting NFL teams that and I dont blame them. An asshole is an asshole but there have been some good QBs in the NFL that have been assholes over the years and frankly if that's what it takes to win I dont give a ****.

The "im Matt Cassel/im Alex Smith i'm a nice smart guy" attitude has just run itself dry for me and does not work when your QB is a noodle armed injury prone pecker fart that can win you 6 games

An UDFA QB is no way, shape or form a threat to Andy's hand picked golden child.

This draft was all about protecting Smith.
