Hope everyone still appreciates Tamba after today

The guy looked like he was in his 20's today. He had 3 times where he just barely missed Ryan on quick passes, he had a sack and he's was beating Jake Matthews pretty good before he got hurt.

Tamba has been really good the last 2 weeks.

It was worth the money to keep this guy

That sounds good. It was quite a bad play considering the fake was to the opposite side. I also have a quick trigger when guys let fakes take them away from their responsibility. As BB says, do your job.

We need to do it this year... For Charles, tamba, DJ-, Berry especially

The Chiefs path to the SB starts with the pass rush. We have no choice but to appreciate him, and them.

Houston. Ford. Hali. Poe. Jones. They are the key imo. The secondary will continue their bend don't break style. They will give up some plays, but they will damn sure make some too, especially if the front 4 is getting after it.

Falcons certainly use Mack because they run very successfully up the middle all day.

Zombo is improved. I give him a ton of credit for covering the back on the 4th down stop. I was shitting my pants when he was in coverage and he did it.

He's also gotten better at setting the edge.

He's not good, but he's not horrible either. Someone has to fill out the bottom of the roster.

Everybody has super turf these days, well except the ones that have natural grass.

Other than a vocal minority here on CP way back when the Chiefs first converted Hali from 43 DE to 34 OLB, I'm not really sure that Tamba has ever been underappreciated by Chiefs fans.

.
He also was lucky from the final replay that he didn't get called for PI before the ball got there. Looked clean first but while the ball was in the air there was enough contact, where if it was against KC, I would have been calling for it.

I can only recall 1 series of plays when both players where on the field at the same time, played the run and didn't rush the passer.

They were on the field when Tamba got his sack.

Does ATL have one of those good ones with tiny chips of used tires underneath?
I believe the answer is that they do. Atlanta's current home has Field Turf, which is one of the newer generation artificial turf surfaces that uses infill to give the athletes better footing. According to Field Turf's webiste, their infill uses cryogenic rubber that comes from recycled tires: http://www.fieldturf.com/en/artifici...eld-recycling/

Atlanta's new stadium (for 2017) will use a product from GreenFields that is the first to pass the NFL BEAST test requirements. http://www.espn.com/blog/atlanta-fal...ic-turf-system

Georgia is home to major players in the carpet and artificial turf industry. There's even a town in Georgia that is called the "carpet capital of the world", https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dalton,_Georgia. There's lot of artificial turf manufacturing and engineering expertise there, from what I understand, so it makes sense that the Falcons have nice home surfaces.

There have been several, actually, who complained that he was extended and saying that we should have cut ties with him because he was eating up too much salary cap space. There were quite a few who were freaking out whe it was realized that Houston was going to miss half the season because we had a useless Ford and a worn out Hali and neither could rush the passer. Of course those guys turned out to be wrong. But they were out there. Not hearing much about that from them now
