Conley trained and lived with Maclin this offseason

Chiefs.com reports second-year WR Chris Conley lived and trained with Jeremy Maclin earlier this offseason.

Per reporter BJ Kissel, Maclin asked Conley to come back to Kansas City to train "shortly after the season ended." The duo then lived together for roughly a month. It's noteworthy commitment from Conley at a stage in his career where many young players would spend the early part of the offseason partying. Conley is a deep threat on a team that doesn't throw deep, but has mouthwatering measurables and athleticism. He remains a firm "hold" in Dynasty leagues.

Hopefully they trained on weight lifting and getting off the press...

Denver rookie QB John Elway, on Jack Lambert, after Lambert and the Steelers knocked Elway out of his first game as a pro (1983).

His 2015 numbers were strikingly similar to that of 1st round WR Nelson Ahgolor.

It would be nice to see him with a minimum 600 yards and 5 TD's this year.

I'm hoping that he takes the #2 spot in TC. Maclin and Conley on the outside with Streater in the slot. Wilson would be an above average #4 WR.

I agree. Iwas going to say, I don't understand slamming on Conley. He did quite well his rookie season, and IMO will only get better.

He will be a good #2 this year. He was starting to really come on late last year when he got used to the system.

I'm not slamming on him at all, just that we've seen and heard all this before.

I dunno that he'll have those numbers in this offense. I hope he does, but he's the 4th or 5th option as of right now

If he's consistently open, Smith will get him touches. Smith doesn't throw deep, but he does distribute the ball.

The #2 WR in this offense should absolutely get 600 yards and 5 TD's but whether that's Streater, Wilson or Conley, only time will tell.

IMO, Wilson should be #4 or #5. I really don't like him.

Unless our passing game significantly takes off, I dunno. I figure between maclin, kelce and the backs, that's about 3000 yards, if not more.

Unless they open it up more, which they should, there aren't alot of touches

People get carried away with all this deep pass stuff. Smith had the highest average YPA in the division. Higher than Russell Wilson, Tom Brady was only .2 yard per attempt higher.

If Andy Reid keeps the offense more open(after Charles injury) and Smith can hit just a few of those bombs they missed, it's good enough. Smith needs to throw bombs better, but the receivers need to catch them better as well. Andy Reid needs to have the offense practice bombs more imo.

Receiver numbers are pretty good, even the Yards Per Attempt.

I want him and Maclin outside and Wilson in the slot. I want someone who can catch a deep ball or at least attempt to.
