What kind of alcohol would you all recommend for calming a bit of social anxiety? I rarely drink, and I rarely consider medicating to deal with anxiety. That being said, there's one particular social event upcoming for me that I'm honestly nervous as hell about, and I was curious if a small shot of something would help me out.

Patron Silver. Smoothest Tequila and it will calm your nerves. Don't go overboard though. Just stick to a couple of shots to get a nice buzz. To stay calm at the poker tables, that was my drink of choice.

Don't go overboard though by drinking too much. One time I went too far and downed 3 double shots. I was in a cig-butt-can outside of the bar. lol
