Ok, here is what happened.

A long time ago Columbia entered a transaction that involve Matt Forte, who at the time belonged to Round Rock. That trade was never proposed.

Later, but also a long time ago, Round Rock traded Matt Forte to Corona.

Recently Columbia entered new transactions into the old trade. The old transactions involving Matt Forte were still there, even though Round Rock didn't own him any longer. I'm guessing that old transaction was still visible to Columbia and he just didn't think to remove them. But it's possible that the old transaction was invisible, in which case that would be a bug.

The software is designed to check that all players still belong the teams involved in the trade before consummating the trade.

So from a software point of view, I don't have evidence that this is a bug.

I have a giant headache now from squinting across 4 databases to understand what happened (no team names or player names were in the databases, just numbers, which had to cross referenced).

Am I the only one having trouble with actually picking the guys I want?
I unchecked autopick (I thought) before I went to bed around 9:30, 9 spots from picking.
I wake up at 5:00, and I've picked Vick Ballard (WTF? I thought he was #3 on my draft board) and am 14 picks away from going again?
Maybe I am too stupid to figure it out this time around.

I thought it was suppose to end but set my auto draft up anyhow but it didn't matter since I forgot to check the box.

I checked it for shits & giggles & was surprised to see it still rolling along & I was 2 minutes into my time allotment for my pick. Must have been ESP. So I ended up picking the guy at the top of my auto draft anyways.

Maybe you veterans can help me. My team's D looks as though it was set up for a 4-3 last year.

My 2 outside LBer's play a 3-4. Apparently it worked for him last year but then again they only won 4 games.

Does it make that big of a difference?

You can change to a 3-4 if you want, you're allowed to once a year. At least, that's the word on the street.

I'd like to accept the trade offer but don't want to mess anything up on your end. What should I do here?

As far as the timing goes, there were several picks made last night after you went to bed. I don't remember which pick it stopped on, but it went at least to within one or two picks of yours.

Were the two players you preferred over Ballard still available when your pick was made?

Reject the trade and re-offer it with only the transactions between Columbia and Seattle, then click accept.

I'm not that worried about it, it just means I tweak my needs for the vet draft and 2013 rookie draft.
The Lights didn't go out until the semis last season, and my early strategies look like they'll return nicely.
I WANT IT ALL!!!

I had to pull the plug on the draft because something is still screwed up with the drafting software. I'll post updates in the main Sandbox thread.
