Hey guys long time no see
Know it's been awhile since I've been around but wanted to vent and ask a question about something.

Anyone else here live in Independence? There was a car wreck at 291 and Salisbury the other morning that killed some teenagers and now it's causing some major problems.

These kids friends are vandalizing my entire neighborhood seeing as I live right by there. The elementary school by me is covered in spray paint. The pole they hit on the highway is covered in spray paint and trash from beer cans etc. The ground there is covered even the yield sign is painted.

A cop was out there yesterday and I guess last night they were out there shooting guns and such. Apparently they are threatening to start a war through social media if people "don't let them grieve" how they want.

This all seems pretty ridiculous to me, losing a friend is no reason to act like a little douchebag.

What say you guys?

I live in Independence. Right up the street -just North- from where that wreck happened are a couple of huge Section 8 housing ghettos. Lots of white trash loser families living just off US 24 Highway. I know because my wife used to teach in the Ft. Osage Schools -which encompasses that area- and there's a lot of slimeballs that live over in there.

There were four kids in the car, all teenagers. Two killed, two seriously hurt. Wreck happened around 4:30am, so they were probably out partying all night. Same tragic story that happens all over the USA. Stupid kids.

That wreck happened in pretty dense fog also, I take my girlfriend to work around that time every morning and had to back track due to it.
