I had to run an errand tonight and I stopped by the local 7/11 to pick up a few things. I got out of my car and there was a couple standing by the big cement ashcan. It was a boy and girl in their early 20's. I had never seen them before. We had this very short conversation as I walked by them:

Him: Hey, did you hear about the monkeys?

Me: What monkeys?

Him: Two monkeys escaped from the Sacramento zoo.

Me: Meh. Well that's over two hours South of here. And that's if the monkeys can drive.

Him. Yeah. True.

I went on in and got my stuff. They were gone when I came out, I continued on with my errand. A few minutes later it struck me that this was a very odd conversation. Especially with someone that I'd never met before.

On a whim I ate a package of corn on the cob last week. It was four of them split into eight pieces. I ate the entire package because I was craving them. The next day I shit something that looked like a very well made beef stew. Smelled horrible though.

So for the last few months a certain credit card company has been sending me applications in the mail. Seven in the last three months. I got one today that tells you to go to their site and punch your info in. So I went online and I put "Unemployed Cocksmith" under occupation thinking that would be the end of it. I was just approved for a 2K starting credit line and the card should arrive in seven to ten days. Son of a bitch.

My daughter says corn is in EVERYTHING. My wife says corn is bad for your colon. I love corn on the cob, but damn I hate picking it out of my teeth for days. You ever had deep fried corn on the cob? There used to be a restaraunt called Black Eyed Pea in St Louis, they had some bomb ass fried corn on the cob. Was coated in seasonings. Damn I'm hungry.
