Looks like I am not watching the Super Bowl. Not even fun to root against the Pats, I just want them to go away now. Haven't watched a minute of the NFL since the Chiefs lost and the Pats being in the SB again doesn't make me want to watch.

Jacksonville gave the football game away from the 5 minute mark of the 2nd quarter on by running against an 8 man front every 1st down, and in the 2nd half, running on just about every 1st and 2nd down. They had success throwing the ball on 1st down the entire game, but played scared after they got a lead. It is rare that Belichik plays aggressively because his defense lacks talent. They can't cover anybody if you get them in 1 on 1 matchups, and can't rush the passer without blitzing, but they are big enough to stop the run effectively. Usually Belichik will stay back in cover 2 man and force teams to nickel and dime their way down the field. Most teams quickly run themselves out of the game because the fronts look appealing to run against, but it's a trap. You can't run consistently against New England even if they play a 7 man front.

Belichik was obviously terrified of Fournette and played an 8 man front the entire game on early downs. That gave Bortles easy opportunities to pick them apart on early downs, which he did very effectively when given the chance. But he didn't get enough chances. Jacksonville got beat by poor play calling and being conservative. IMO Hackett should be run out of town immediately, and I'm not even a Jaguars fan.
