Sent you an offer with a starter at MLB in it.

Do the notes at the top right hand corner notify you of a trade offer or does a email get sent?

Cause I got none of the above & only found out there were a half dozen waiting from Clay mentioning here.

You don't get an email.

Either someone on here will alert you or you'll see the notification on the site in my experience.

This.

Better communications are in the works, but right now that isn't the priority for the limited programming time that I have available.

Trade offers expire after 48 hours. Other than that, I'm not sure what you are asking about.

Chris Clark for $6; big fan.

Sure, it's only for a year but it's a huge upgrade in pass protection for me at a critical position.

I'm surprised nobody else was interested. $6 for a starting LT is a steal.

ya I've signed a few guys at least for $1 that have started just about every game. Feels like a steal.

I picked him up for a $1 last year in the other league. I wasn't aware I could keep him & bid him up to resign so I dropped him.

Question:

when a player shows up 404 not found on their website, does that affect how good they will be in this game? For example, FS for the Rams Rodney McLeod is 404 when you click on him. Im just wondering what that means, if anything with the sim.

Nah. It just means that there's a broken link to his web page. You can go to pro football reference and look him up.

The funny thing is that there's a natural desire to get a guy cheap, but at the same time it might be better to bid more and get him for a longer time. I've had a couple of guys that I got for a dollar, and I snickered about it, but then realized that I would've preferred to sign him for a 3-year deal or more. I should have actually bid higher even with no competition.
