The O-Line just exacerbated that problem. When you have to think 'who can catch' on every down, WHILE facing a jailbreak from all sides, it's a recipe for all out fail.

And how many times did we laugh and laugh and laugh when the end of game's numbers were something like 6 rushes for 40 yards and Fat Andy's presser reiterated the 'we probably should have used Jamaal more' line?
I disagree. Alex Smith's offensive line the second half of 2013 was actually very good. You know why? Smith was aggressive? You know why? He didn't trust his defense.

That's a really bad sign when your QB is only motivated to be aggressive when your defense sucks. I don't want to root for the Chiefs' defense to suck just for Smith to grow a pair.

Just to be clear, talking about Stephenson-Allen-Hudson-Schwartz-Fisher, let alone with Albert as starter. The oline last year did not have much talent, but they played mostly well. When Smith attacks, he gets rid of the ball faster and he makes his OL and WRs better.

Smith was terrible beginning of 2013, then productive at the end of 2013. He went back to being overly conservative this year. It's no coincidence that his only productive games over 2 years were that 7 or 8 game stretch where our defense sucked.

I totally disagree on the run/pass thing. We have to lead the league on tackles for a loss which indicates the opposing team seems to be playing the run/short pass first. WE do need to go deep and fix the line however. We have so many plays of losing yardage on runs also 3 and outs where we run 2 or 3 times and gain nothing..no sir..what we need is a deep threat and to actually take some shots and hit them at that distance.

Yes, that's why Robert Kraft, the city of Green Bay, Paul Allen, Jed York are so fundamental to their teams' success, and the the Redskins and Cowboys flounder in the absence of a strong ownership hand.

The cowboys just won a playoff a playoff game while Clarky plays goalie at the local YMCA. Kraft and Rooney are also strong owners that wont accept the shit pyles wheeled out by the Chiefs in my life time. Ownership is huge when it comes to success of a franchise. Ours is weak and hands off and the results speak for themselves.

The Cowboys fell short of the SB with an entire team built around trying to make Romo a thing.

It amuses me endlessly that all of the drafturbators view Romo as elite while he realizes before their very eyes all of their worst fears expressed regarding Alex.

And you assert a strong hand from Kraft and Rooney with no evidence in support. The Pats are Belichick and Brady. END OF STORY.

Kraft got his guys so there is nothing do but sit back and watch once you are king of the hill. Clark is no such position to do so while we roll out someones elses trash year after year at the QB spot.

Yeah, Cleveland's trash and a 5th round fluke QB, that's pretty much the strong ownership holy grail.

This isn't about what Clark demands, it's about you granting Kraft credit for shit he lucked into.
