No backup as of yet. Wanted to go ahead and grab Gates to cover J. Thomas' early bye week, then I'll trade him or pick up someone off of waivers.

If McCown has a good start to the season I may go that way - he carried a few FF teams last year, and I like matching my QB with one of my starting WR's.

Third and final league. I picked second. We start 1 QB, 2 RBs, 3 W/Ts, 1, Flex, 1K, 1D.

In order;

Adrian Peterson
Alshon Jeffery
Keenan Allen
Cordarrelle Patterson
Bishop Sankey
Vernon Davis
Nick Foles
Fred Jackson
Dwayne Bowe
Markus Wheaton
Denver D
Stephen Gostkowski
LaDarius Green
CJ Anderson
Stepfan Taylor

Usually I'm pretty optimistic about my team. I love my W/Ts in this league. But to me, this team has 7-6 written all over it.

He's currently my number 2. Because apparently Sankey sucks and I missed the memo.

I like the team, just your rb's scare me. I think Sankey should be solid, but I'm not sure if he'll be getting the full load.

I had the 4th pick and ending up with
RG3, Kap
Forte, Leveon Bell, Gore, and Hyde
Julio, Golden Tate, Bowe, Wheaton, Doug Baldwin
Jordan Cameron and Antonio Gates
And 9ers D

I'm pretty happy with it.. WRs are only average outside of Julio, but i think i have decent depth there

Real good team. I like Tate a lot in that offense.

12 team league, drafted a couple weeks ago, PPR...

QB: Kapernick, Cutler
RB: Lynch, Foster, Chris Johnson, Christine Michael, Dexter McCluster (dropped LawFirm and picked him up for potential PPR value)
WR: Randall Cobb, Vincent Jackson, Wes Welker, Steve Smith, Tavon Austin, Stevie Johnson
TE: Coby Fleener
DEF: Chiefs
K: Greg Zurlien
P: Pat McAfee (1 point for each punt inside the 10; some MF drafted Colquitt before me!)

I picked 5th, which lead me to this boom-or-bust roster. Lynch was the only legit choice at #5 despite the risk of him finally breaking down this year. And then Foster was still around at 20, which is just insane value despite how injury prone is. Best case scenario, they both stay healthy and I potentially have two top 5 RBs. Worst case scenario, they both get injured. (I was lucky to get Michael as a handcuff; by all accounts he should surpass Turbin as the #2 RB in Seattle).

I truly can't decide whether to start Kap or Cutler as my QB1. Kap has his legs, Cutler has his two huge all-star wideouts. A good problem to have, I suppose, but I have no idea how to solve it.

I'm concerned about my WR situation, especially in PPR. Welker was good value at the time, but then he got a concussion and so now who knows what's going on there. Cobb and Jackson both have big play potential, but Cobb isn't even a WR1 on his real life team and Jackson needs Doug Martin to come back in a big way if he doesn't want everybody keyed in on him every play. Then I've got old-ass Steve Smith, busted-ass Stevie Johnson, and Tavon Austin, who tortured me all last season and then I went and drafted his streaky ass again because I'm a goddamn masochist.

And then who knows about the Chiefs D. We don't have any cornerbacks but maybe Dee Ford will join Houston and Hali to form a three headed monster that will take all the pressure off the secondary? Maybe? Honestly it was 100% a homer pick and I felt guilty about taking Welker.

Thoughts?

12 team....PPR.

QB: Colin Kaepernick, Philip Rivers
RB: Eddie Lacy, Zac Stacy, Lamar Miller, Mark Ingram, Jonathan Stewart
WR: Alshon Jeffery, Torrey Smith, Michael Floyd, Golden Tate, Justin Hunter
TE: Julius Thomas, Heath Miller

I got ****ed out of Stafford, Ryan and Romo. Grabbed Kap for his upside and Rivers for his stability.

Honestly, I think you're in a better situation. All three of the guys you missed out on are very frustrating to own. Kap has the most upside of any of them and Rivers should be good for a spot start here and there at the very least.

what do you think?
What reason could you possibly have to own two kickers? Also why two D/ST when you only have 4 RBs and 4 WRs? I'm having a hard time seeing this team in the playoffs.
