Hmm, I just noticed that Nestle Crunch ended up in the first round twice. I somehow missed it on the deduping. That means that I need to bring in another wild card to have an even number of contestants, so Heath Bars are back in as the top-scoring eliminated wildcard contestant.

My votes:
Nestle Crunch over Pearsons Salted Nut Roll. I suspect that I would like the PSNR, but a Nestle Crunch is a surefire guarantee of deliciousness. I'll go Crunch. Butterfinger Crisp over Hot Tamales. As I mentioned in the last round, Cinnamon has no place in candy and candy should never burn your taste buds. I'm not enthralled with Butterfinger Crisp, but it's an easy win over the known devil. Caramello over Runts. Caramello is awesome. I love the highly liquid caramel and how you have to be careful how you hold it or the caramel will flow out. The chocolate is a good vessel for the caramel, too. I don't remember much about Runts, but they didn't wow me on the time or two that I've had them. Easy win for Caramello. 100 Grand Bar over Baby Ruth. Wow. This is a 51/49 deal. I like them both equally well, and each brings a particular strength to the table. I like the thickness of the Baby Ruth and how its tubular shape is so filling in your mouth when you - okay, I'm going to stop right there. But you know what I mean. On the other hand, I really like how the caramel, chocolate, and rice krispies interact in the 100 Grand Bar to make it a slow eat. In the end, I'll slightly pick the 100 Grand Bar just because it stretches out the eating experience with its chewiness.

Salted nut roll. I love peanuts.
I've never had a Butterfinger Crisp but voted for it because I don't like Hot Tamales. They are however one of my wife's favorite candy. She's weird sometimes. Carmello. I went with the Baby Rush, probably because of the peanut thing, but wouldn't turn down a 100 Grand. |

The picture tells me Pearsons is a good source of protein and made in the USA. How can you side against confection like that.

Crunch. I mean Salted Nut Roll? How did this make it out of Round 1? Hot Tamales. I do love cinnamon candies. Caramelo. I want to go Runts, but not against Caramelo. 100 Grand is 100,000x better than Baby Ruth. |

Heath is good, no argument. Skor is better. If they do end up in a one-on-one heat, Heath will win because it's far better known and more readily available. More people have never had or even heard of Skor. |
