Yeah so sequel to Prometheus. David (Fassbender) is probably like Bishop in that there are many makes of the same model, I would have to think that Noomi Rapace's character is just mentioned in this film and this isn't the planet they went to at the conclusion of Prometheus.

From the synopsis it seems that the ship is named Covenant and its a group that is trying to populate this world and habitate it.

A few things interest me; the infection that's mentioned in the beginning of the trailer, that doesn't look like a traditional chest burster, unless it's coming out his back. I wonder if this "infection" is something else, like in the trailer where that spore flies into the guys ear canal.

Nice to see eggs, (wonder where the queen is at) even though it looks a little different. Wonder if we're still going through the evolution of the Alien like how the ending of Prometheus looked like a different variation of the Alien we've come to know.

The shower kill does feel a bit hokey and like a horror movie trope, but it's still cool imagery to see the blood splatter.

I'll go see any Alien movie, this trailer looks like Prometheus in all honesty so I'm expecting more of the same, but maybe without the annoying backstory of the space jockey and more just a killer Alien on the loose.
