It's kind of the whole point of the show. It's in the damned title.

He had the gasoline and the match. Just light it. It wasn't just Walt he ratted out. By talking, he ratted out everyone connected to them.

I just put it all into perspective. He's a drug manufacturer/dealer. I'm not sure what kind of virtue you expect to come from that.

And again... He's one of many people who's committed heinous acts.
Why is he any more evil than anyone else?

Ordering Jesse to murder Gail is not OK.
I'm not sure I ever said it was okay. I said I understood it.
And if you can see the immorality in this, surely you can see the problem with pulling the trigger...

Saying that he did "in order to survive" doesn't magically make it OK. The same goes for allowing Jane to die, murdering Mike, arranging the murders of a dozen guys in jail, and poisoning Brock.

How can you not understand that? Are you a sociopath?
Can you put the Ten Commandment tablets down a sec and recognize that we're talking about a television show?

The people who keep insisting that Jesse Pinkman is the moral center of the show.

B.S.

Someone who has the correct view that Jesse is the show's moral center must also be someone who recognizes that no one on the show that isn't a child (or Gomie, I suppose) is blameless.

I think whether or not Walt remains sympathetic is intentionally up to the viewer.
Even though he's gone way beyond the pale there's still part of me that wants him to somehow get away. I know he can't, really, but I don't find myself thinking, "I can't wait until they get Walt." It's part of what makes the show great. They want you to be conflicted. It's by design.
Yes, they're pushing Walt further and further into darkness, but they no doubt want at least some people, in some way, to want to see Walt keep going- keep getting "lucky". To win in some fashion.

I'm not really rooting for anyone. I just watch it and am entertained by it. They've all done bad things so whatever happens is ok by me. Kinda feel bad for Pinkman currently though. That dude has gotten the shit kicked out of him like 100 times lol. Poor guy.

Fair enough. Just assume no one has that point of view and that I made it up.

Dude murdered someone in cold blood. I get the moral center argument, but it does seem weak.

I guess the argument would be that he seems like the only one that feels any guilt for his actions.
But I don't really know why it matters who the moral center is. Pinkman is more conflicted about what they've done, sure, but is there really much nobility in feeling guilty for what you've done?
Jesse might be the moral center, but Walt's the protagonist, he's the story center, for good or bad.
