Well, I bit the bullet and picked up the 360 S from Tiger Direct. After $45 back from Bing and $20 from eBillme, the damage was only $235 plus shipping.

I heard that Bing Cash Back is shutting down on July 30th.

Old Xbox sold, new one in route. Will only run $80 or so for the upgrade.

The controller was in poor shape..... the battery pack had to be taped on and the analog buttons were pretty off-center. Add in the fact that it wasn't a Falcon chipset (even though it was purchased in December 2007) and I'm glad to be rid of it.

AvP was interesting.... basically a combo of a below-average FPS (Marine), stealth game (as the Alien), and pretty badass FPS (Predator).

Everything 1200pts is overpriced.. But if you got the cheese; last retail game I bought was Alan Wake ($20 after trade in).. I'm buying into this "summer of gaming" xbla is doing.

I thought Braid was worth 1200. I hate how they keep raising the prices on XBLA games. First a good majority of them were 400, then 800, now 1200 is the standard.

Braid is def worth 1200; as well as LIMBO.
I'm with u though, sucks they keep jackin up the prices but since they raised the limit on xbla title sizes ( some over a gig now) I think we're getting closer to getting our value as far as game content goes.
