Chiefs trade (Arenas) for...wait for it...a FB?
Chiefs acquired FB Anthony Sherman from the Chiefs...er Cardinals.
New Cards head coach Bruce Arians has no room for plodding fullbacks in his aggressive, vertical offense. So Sherman heads to Andy Reid's West Coast scheme as Jamaal Charles' lead blocker. The 2011 fifth-rounder graded out 20th among 25 qualifying fullbacks in Pro Football Focus' rankings last season. May 1 - 12:11 PM

a bad player is Jalil Brown.

Javier Arenas is a good role player, can start in a pinch and can do a lot of things on defense and special teams if needed.

at everyone suddenly going blind to the fact that Javier Arenas has done NOTHING for this team in the past few years. Hoo-****ing-ray he averaged like 12 yards per PR. He also couldn't cover anyone. Ever.

We either pick up another player for him or we cut him for nothing. Those are the options. Sure, we could have used another position other than FB, but seriously...neither of these guys were going to contribute anyway.
