If you can't keep from walking three straight guys, you can't be a MLB pitcher. It's a total joke. Although it does beg the question why the reeruned manager takes out Herrera to put this clown in. Everyone does it: takes out the guy with the clean 8th so we can PUT IN THE CLOSER YAY! It's so dumb. I'd beat Yost to a bloody pulp too.

Holland had no control last night, let alone command. Once that was clear, you can question whether you go get the ball and tell him it isn't his night (though at that point, the only stud guy available was Tim Collins, who had thrown quite a few pitches the day before), but then you're hitting you're closer's confidence pretty severely.

He almost worked his way out of it. The back-to-back strikeouts snuffed any chance of going to someone else at that point.
