I'm debating whether or not Perry Jones can sustain this and be the #1 option while KD and RW are out. Might be worth the add in fantasy hoops.

Did it a hour ago. After a game like that, you pretty much have to.

Well, looks like blatt agrees which is nice. Too many people standing around. Guys have to start moving around and swinging the ball around. He called it ball energy. Kyrie took some blame but it sounds like he may have the biggest learning curve since he has to run an actual offense versus the makeshift improv offense he's always played in.

Gonna be an interesting experiment since most of these guys are used to freelancing. I'm a little torn on it. There's a part of me that thinks you have three slashers so they should be constantly slashing. But then you look at the spurs and the only way you can counter them is giving them a taste of their own medicine, which is ball movement. I was happy to see that the cavs were much more active on defense.

It's so sad how much you guys bring up Iowa State football when the most I've ever said is they will be improved

Don't bring up basketball though which I actually do hype. A lot. Oh wait, that's because the hype is real.

OKC isn't making the playoffs. I don't see how they win more than a couple of games for 4 to 6 weeks. You are basically gonna have to go like 48-9 to even sniff the playoffs in the West. Maybe being focused they can to do it, but they probably won't have anything left if they make it. Current roster is the worst in the NBA and it's not even close.

Despite all of that the Clippers played horrible and should have lost. An embarrassing lazy performance by them.

I can only laugh at this shit. Roberson, Telfair and Thomas are D League talent.

Ibaka and Perk are coming off injury.

Collison is a role player.

Adams and Jones flash but are far from consistant.

I don't think Pop could do anything with this much less Brooks.

I tried really hard to watch the Wizards vs Magic last night. I really did. But holy shit it was just awful. Neither team tried worth a damn on defense. "Oh no a pick. Looks like I better just say **** it and let my man have an open jumper!" is what was said by almost everyone out on the floor. It was painful. John Wall is awesome though.

I watched that game because I had Vucevic on my FanDuel and he was really ****ing pissing me off at the end missing easy shot after easy shot.

And as for all the LeBron and Cavs haters already...

Pretty sure the LeBron era in Miami started out the same exact way...and they struggled for the first 15 games or so before they figured out a winning formula.

They might be 8-7 or so again this year...but let's be realistic, that team is going to be one of the last 4 standing this year...and, potentially, the last 1.

Do you get points for rebounds? I'm not sure how many he had last night but the game prior he had 23 I think. Beast rebounder.

As weak as the East is, especially with Indiana losing George...yeah I'd venture to say Cleveland will be right there at the end.

Yeah. He still produced well, just missed some gimmes at the end

Don't bet on it. The Clippers have a long history of letting scrubs have career nights. We let Terrence Ross drop 50 on us last year, for example.

I pretty much expected that kind of game. The Clippers never play well when the opponent is missing their star(s). We also looked awful in preseason, and despite the cliche that "preseason doesn't matter," there's no magical switch to flip that would make us look any better to start the year. Luckily, it's only October.
