According to Blabbermouth, promoters and organizers are now cooking a possible reunion tour for the American rock band.

"Slash and Axl have verbally agreed to get things together again and reform the original band," the insider reportedly said. "The live shows are where they can show the world what they had and also make the greatest earnings."

"Promoters are quietly working away to land opportunities. Details of the reunion are expected to leak out in the next few days. Everyone is expecting huge demand for tickets, but the boys are very humble and are not sure what to expect."

And while no official announcement has been made yet, Alternative Nation, claimed that Slash may have been reserving a short summer time for a Guns N' Roses reunion tour, while his other band Myles Kennedy and the Conspirators is scheduled to perform shows 2016 and 2017.

According to a report from Jose Norberto Flesch of GNR Truth, the band has now ironed out any legal issues constraining the possibility of an original line up tour for Guns N' Roses.

"Heads up!" the report said. "The 'possible return of Guns' story is stronger now. I've heard that the legal issues have been solved. Now it's up to the band."

And to further strengthen the claims, reports suggested that Guns N' Roses has been offered to play at Coachella for quite some time already.

"Guns already has an offer from Coachella for a long time," the report said. "It was only a matter of solving their issues."

"European festivals are also anxiously awaiting for a resolution for all Guns related problems."

The reason why Slash is suddenly open to the idea is simple: Money.

Since his divorce, he's had to sell his home and is currently renting. He lost half his net worth and is still required to pay alimony and child support.

While his passion is working with Myles and the guys, it doesn't generate much revenue for him, certainly nothing along the lines of even a few festival shows would generate with GnR.

Personally, I think the fans will be disappointed. Axl can't sing and everything I've heard the past few months only involves Duff (who's shown up at several concerts to jam with Axl over the past several years) and Slash. No Matty, Steven (who's been pushing it for years and years), Izzy or even Gilby.

Blech. Who cares?

Uh oh......Reunion over before it began? Axl cancels his Kimmel show appearance for tomorrow night.....


According to a post on the popular GUNS N' ROSES fan forum MyGNRForum.com, Axl Rose's previously announced appearance on ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" program will no longer take place on Tuesday, January 5.

Early Monday, Rose was listed as the show's first guest for the Tuesday broadcast and, for some reason, the GUNS N' ROSES singer's name was removed from the site by mid-afternoon.

A moderator for MyGNRForum.com wrote: "[There was] no reason given [for the change of plans]. I sent out an email to someone connected with the band the answer I got back is that Axl will not be appearing in tomorrow night's show. Hopefully we'll hear more in the coming days, so I wouldn't get too discouraged. It's just not going to be on 'Kimmel' tomorrow night. That's all I know."

Rose was expected to reveal details of a reunion of GUNS N' ROSES' classic lineup, including plans for a headlining appearance at this year's Coachella Music And Arts Festival and a 25-date stadium tour of North America this summer.

Axl Rose, guitarist Slash and bassist Duff McKagan are all said to be involved, although it's not clear who else will be part of the band's lineup.

Slash last performed with GUNS N' ROSES at River Plate Stadium in Buenos Aires, Argentina on July 17, 1993.

A since-deleted Facebook post from Axl's half-sister, Amy Bailey, urged fans to watch "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" on Tuesday.

A good friend of mine was at Rocklahoma a couple years back and said Axl was absolutely terrible. Slash doesn't need Axl to have a very productive career.
