J. Nelson
J. Kearse
M. Floyd
J. Reed
Bills
Graham
I have one that's almost identical to this. Insert Russell Wilson for Manning and a couple of other variations. Think I took Bennett at TE...

it's the same idea

I always love Antonio Brown and Jordy Nelson.

Chiefs run defense is horrible.

That's a good lineup. I think Jordan Reed is the must play of the week at TE, though. Love Tate. Love Lamar Miller. And Love Ellington.

I hate punting on QBs. I think Hoyer is solid but this lineup you're showing me is a good lineup for 50/50s or H2H not really GPP because how many TD's can the Browns really score?

You have Hoyer, Tate and the defense. So unless you think they score 50 there is no way it can possible place in the real money in that $10 GPP. I mean, it can...but the most it'll net is a $20 profit. Unless the Browns score 2 defensive TDs and Hoyer throws 4 TDs (2 of them to Tate) and Tate runs for another.

If you ever have a chance, read rotogrinders. It's really good. It breaks down GPP's vs H2H vs 50/50s.

That's a real solid 50/50 or H2H...but too many Browns I think. You're really lowering your ceiling because the Browns can only score so many points...and if the D scores a few TDs you know Hoyer isn't gonna do shit, which bodes well for Tate but ... ya know.

But hey, I've done TERRIBLE every week so far sans 1...so...wtf do I know.

I'm taking a giant leap of faith with Jermaine Kearse this week. I know one of the Hawks receivers is gonna score a TD, and I narrowed it down to Kearse. Jordan Reed is my guy this week.

Yeah, and they have been giving the LOAD to Tate the last couple of weeks. Probably not going to change this week against the JAGs. See, this is why I like talking about this shit so much, I need to rethink Hoyer, but by doing so I have to a couple of other directions as well because Hoyer was so ****ing cheap. That's what I LOVE LOVE LOVE about fanduel. It's a ****ing strategy game. Thanks for the tip on rotogrinders.

I instantly changed the Browns D back to Buffalo. I have it in every other game except that one. We're on the same page there. That's a great matchup for the Bills. I'll toy over the rest of it, because I do think the Browns put up 35+ on Jax. They're for real right now, the question is what does Hoyer get? Because while I don't think I'm necessarily punting on Hoyer, I know the dude probably doesn't put up the career 30 point week, and you pretty much need to hit on every pick to win the big money in those games. If he can be the low man though at 21-23 points, that may be good enough.

I read something that said to the effect of always going value at TE. Historically the top TE of the week is something like 3-4 points higher than the lowest and it wasn't worth spending on them. My thing on Reed is that he's only played in 2 games this year. While he had a great game coming back from injury, he hasn't scored much, and hasn't gotten a ton of action even dating back to last year. He had one monster game from what I'm seeing. What do you know that I don't?

Here's what I read about Hoyer that got me excited about him.

Quote:
the Jaguars are god-awful against the pass. (Jacksonville is bad at just about every aspect of the game right now.) The Jaguars have allowed the most 20-plus-yard pass plays in the league (32) and Brian Hoyer has completed the most passes of that kind (15) for the most yards (531)

I think that was the first game he's really played all year last week. He has a great matchup and the Skins target the TE 54% of the time. He's the go to guy in that offense.

The RBs I'd choose from this week are simply Lamar Miller, Andre Ellington and Ben Tate. I never spend on RBs and those 3 all have PLUS matches.

I generally always build my lineups starting with Peyton and Jimmy Graham (won me a horse **** load of money last year) but Graham isn't gonna play this week (and even if he does he's not worth the salary) so Reed is my value guy. I could be wrong, but I like him.

When it's warm, I always like to spend more on receivers and punt on RBs but I don't see any great RB punts...

So I had to punt on one guy this week and it was Jermaine Kearse. Like that matchup, a lot. But ****, who knows.

Bills is the go to defense which means, knowing Rick luck...they'll score about 3 and Graham will have about 2 because that's what has been raping me all year.

They really should get rid of the ****ing kicker and add a flex spot like Draft Kings. I just don't like Draft Kings' interface otherwise I'd make the full switch.

I don't generally **** with QBs. Peyton is a shoe in for 300 yards and 3 TDs, at least, every week. Yeah, he's a shit ton...but his upside is like 450 and 5 every week and I like that. He's breaking that record this week so 3 is a gimme.

I think Hoyer is super underrated as an NFL QB.

This week, on paper, great matchup.

But lets be real. Browns are pretty good. We've seen that.

Jags are GOD AWFUL.

So you know he's going to have like 150 and maybe 2 TDs...

and Tate/Crowell are going to combine for like 250 and 3

P.S. I used to think I was good at giving FanDuel advice. I was up like $3K after 4 weeks last year.

However, after 6 weeks this year I've had 1 winning week and am down about $1500. So, uh, yeah. Take everything with a giant grain of ****ing salt.

I've used Ellington all year and he's never let me down. I think Tate is a lock, so from there I went with Oliver because he's been lights out, and the Chiefs run D is weak as shit right now. Do you just not take guys going against the Chiefs? What's your take on Oliver? Why not, because he's been lights out since Mathews went down.

I really have to agree with what you're saying on Hoyer. It's not going to be a close game, and if they're strictly running in the 2nd half, I'm not getting much more than about 15 points out of Hoyer, and that's not good enough. ****. This is tough, because I was really STOKED about having two top flight, excellent wide outs in what I thought would be great matchups for them this week. I'll have to play around with the roster some more and see if I can find something I like better.

I also think your luck is about to change on D and K, because I've been killing those picks all year, and I have the same guys in literally every lineup now that I put the Bills back in the one I took the Browns out of.

Yeah, I'm not convinced on Reed so I promise I won't take everything as golden. The Hoyer logic is ****ing compelling though...

This is the first week I thought I was really onto something.

don't let me talk you out of anything!

I'm a huge fan of Antonio Brown. And Jordy Nelson. But if you use that lineup I think you have to switch Tate with Lamar Miller and hope Hoyer throws a bunch of TDs. I think they are the same salary.

I've been chasing those GPP's for years.

I'm starting to think the best strategy is going into the $25 million, duplicating 10 entries, having like 4 staples in the lineup that YOU ARE SURE ARE GONNA BEAST, and then switching up the other guys and hoping one sticks and you really cash...

but man

it's like winning the lottery

the best value, IMO, are the $25 10 man leagues
