This team has never been able to put teams away under Reid/Sutton. Not surprised. It seems this is the MO of this era. Glad we have a qb who can overcome this issue!

Yeah the announcer said after half of the 9er game that Reid said we have to keep our foot on the gas and put the hammer down then we come out running on 1st and 2nd.

How much of the time this season has the game been between 7 points?

in week 1, that was about the first 10 minutes of the game.
in week 2, it was approx. the first 10 minutes and the last 2 minutes.
in week 3, it was the first 13 minutes.

I mean, great that there's some mildly positive stat, but it's primarily just happening on the first drive or two.

They still have allowed almost 500 yards per game. Only one 3-0 team since the merger has allowed more points.

That number doesn't surprise me. They've been solid when not in prevent.

Not trying to argue that it's secretly a top 5 defense, but it's more capable than it's given credit for.
