Seriously, why in the **** do you keep a roster spot for a long snapper ? I mean that's all he does. Keep an extra TE for that and teach him. Long snapping isn't that ****ing hard to do. I do it all the time. Just seems to me you could use a player that can benefit the team moar !

Williams won't make the roster. Too many drops in camp, and nothing thus far in the preseason to warrant keeping him.
Robinson had a nice special teams play last night, but he's far from a lock in my eyes. He may be able to sneak on to the practice squad as I know teams are weary of his off the field issues. |

There is no reason for us to keep 3 qbs on the active roster.
1. We don't have a developmental QB worthy of protecting. If we did, we wouldn't have signed Foles. 2. Hogan will make it to the PS. 3. How many effing years are we going to wait on Bray. It's over folks. 4. I like Murray, but frankly he isn't seeing the field with Foles in the fold. 5. Not having a 3rd QB allows us an extra LB, DB, TE - Which frankly will see more playing time. Travis, Flemming, Mauga are all > Bray or Murray |

Plus Dion Lewis of the Pats is still hurt, we should swing a deal with them with one of our RBs. |

Spending $7 million on Foles next year to back up Alex Smith seems a little excessive, especially when they'll need to pay Poe and they currently only have $4 million in cap space. Plus, as I've said before, I can't imagine an Andy Reid coached team with only 2 QB's. If something happens to Smith, scrambling to find someone off the streets that can run his offense behind Foles would be next to impossible. And Hogan looked awful last week, so I seriously doubt they'd want to promote him from the PS. Blech. |

Is anyone else slightly underwhelmed by Albert Wilson (seemingly) retaining his #3 WR spot? Given what Reid can do with TE's available I guess #3 WR isn't as important but still not a big fan of Wilson; not particularly great before or after the catch and I would have hoped one of the new WRs would take that spot.
Or is it just me? |
