Just your weekly reminder that Chris Jones is really good

It sucks losing Allen Bailey, but Chris Jones is ****ing balling out there.

Dadi Nicolas flashed too in one of his two snaps, but here's Jones with a nice spin move getting into the backfield.

So crazy how Parker continues to be the most underrated player on the team. He is tied for the league lead in passes defended among safeties and he had 15 passes defended last year.

He's easily our best pure cover corner/safety.

No agenda whatsoever. They all have "Chiefs" on the jersey. While they both are listed as safeies, they have completely different roles on the team.

Parker is fair at best at CB ,has been fine at safety, but still continues to make some really bone headed plays. He doesn't see the field very well. He's been okay in zone coverage on tight ends so far this season.

He's the 2016 season version of Brandon Carr. People love him here on CP, but he is often responsible for some of the most egregious defensive plays/miscues on the field on any given Sunday. Makes some good ones, but also more than his fair share of bad.

However, I do understand that he is, at this point, an important cog on the wheel and there really isn't anyone on the roster at this point to take his place for the role he plays on the field. After being a guy whose been cut eight times by four different teams, he's done well for himself in Sutton's defense. Enough that they were happy to give him a five year, $30 million dollar contract.

He's okay.

Better?

Looking forward to Mr. Jones introducing himself to the Saints this week. I think he is going to wreck some shit.

Really? Wow! I was expecting him to come out and mess some shit up. That's disappointing and a bit worrisome.

He helped collapse the pocket several times, broheim... it doesnt show in the stats, but he made Brees throw over the head of his linemen quite a bit, and almost blocked the extra point

Honest to God, cant remember the last player I've watched on ANY team who so consistently walks linemen back when they're left one on one with him... he gets those long arms into their chest and just starts pushing forward

The Saints chipped and doubled him a bunch today as well, that shows how much teams are starting to take notice of this kid... he is a young Sasquatch, trust me

No he won't.

Luck holds onto the ball as long or longer than anyone in the league.

I'm not saying he isn't good or can't make plays, but Brees is far superior at preventing a pass rush.
