Breaking Up With Comcast
Check out this phone call when a guy simply wants to cancel his Comcast Service. Brutal.

I have Comcast, and their tech support is God Awful. Just the worst. The only company with worse customer service is The Kansas City Star.

I can make adjustments to my service with AT&T on their website. Why does Comcast make you call in? So they can subject you to this of course.

i've never had any real issues with comcast! Only one i really had was when the PG&E guy cut the internet line on the telephone pole by accident. Comcast came to check it out, fixed the issue, then tried to charge me 50 bucks. I told them, im not paying for something that i didnt do! why should i have to pay for something that had NOTHING to do with me. They waived the fee after explaining what happend. THen gave me HBO for free for 6 months and i know how HBO Go. lol

I had a rep for a credit card company basically sound just this when I switched companies. I had already brought in another company and was using their machine already. Hadn't ran a card on theirs for a month. He pulled this shit for so long I ended up screaming at him JUST CANCEL MY ****ING ACCOUNT AND QUIT TAKING MONEY OUT OF MY ACCOUNT! and hung up, called my bank and blocked them off of my account.

Funniest part was I had told this guy cancel it for so long before I flipped out that a lady who was at least 60 had walked into the front office and sat down with my wife and heard the whole conversation and me yelling finally. I walked out there and saw her and was terribly embarrassed. She said "honey I would have told that guy to **** off ten minutes ago".

My only choice is Comcast in south blue springs. No real issues other then they tried to claim a modem I bought off amazon as theirs. They wanted to charge me five bucks a month for my modem. I called customer service and they swore it was theirs and I must have bought a stolen comcast modem on amazon. I bought a new non Comcast modem and had to send them a copy of my receipt. Complete be but they changed but I still had to jump through hoops. Come on google fiber to blue springs.

This, the city shouldn't be able to limit competition for a kickback or whatever they get out of the deal. I left at&t for phone and internet before uverse came out and it was like pulling teeth.
