I understand wanting to keep the pass rush trio together, but at the same time the Chiefs have lead the league in sacks while the defense has still been god awful. losing some pass rush to improve elsewhere on the D can't make the defense any worse.

Speaks was probably a big miss. The only caveat to that is if we switch to a 4-3, Speaks may be able to transition to DE. He's definitely not a OLB.
