-- We're way overdue to discuss Steak and Shake in depth.
This is the best value + taste fast food out there, IMO.

Today I alternatively decided on a sausage, egg and cheese biscuit and a gigantic OJ (both were way above average) The sausage was well done - which I prefer. The Orange Juice was very refreshing.


Their lunch $4 options are a hell of a deal - occasionally I'll get the triple hamburger and fry after adding cheese and tax it's something like $4.86

Now I DO like Culvers, but all things in the mix; Steak and Shake is doing better things for the community by being MUCH more affordable.

What do you all like ordering at S&S...?

Went to our new one today (second day open). Everything was awesome. The shake came out a few minutes before the burger (which doesn't happen at the other one). Not sure why they bother to ask dine in or carry out, since the presentation was the same.

The cacophony of 12 women yelling "WELCOME TO SHAKE AND STEAK," not in unison was a little disturbing, but worth a laugh. I'll be back.

Pickles are fine on a burger unless sweet pickles thats a no go for me just like thousand Island dressing on a burger.

I miss Hardee's bread and butter pickles, with the turmeric and whole mustard and celery seeds.

SnS' pickles are largely unremarkable. But I do like that they slice them lengthwise. Two big pickle strips, like bacon slices.
