**2016 Sporting Kansas City / General Soccer Thread**
Because everyone loves it...preseason is a few weeks away and the start of the MLS season is not long at all in Seattle.

Should be another very strong year with a run at multiple cups with a bit of injury luck.

It was a weak year in the draft it was very apparent when Peter Vermes who has done as good of job of building through the draft as anyone passed on picking anyone that day and traded the pick for allocation money...and I think an allocation order swap.

10 v 11 nearly a full half and Sporting is struggling to get a goal. I'm starting to question the team's chemistry...

I'll take the 1-1 draw on the road, but this team needs to figure things out..

Very-much snake bitten. But it doesn't help when they seem too intent on set pieces. Sometimes, like hockey, you just have to put the ball in front of the goal and count on a few opportunities coming your way. Last month when we were at the game here in KC I thought they spent far too much time working the ball back to our side of mid-field, then working it forward. There are times for that, but it seems to be happening far too often IMO.

But hey, it's all good.

SKC is push up happy and gets burned on the counter all the time. So when they are working the ball back to Besler and I get annoyed that is probably the balance they want. The one thing about LA is they come to press and play. Most teams don't have the talent and just poach counter attacks.
