Off Season Lets Talk Guns

Been a while since we had a guns n' ammo discussion.

Some of you are AR shooters Im sure. Im looking at a Colt 6920. Will be my first AR. Picked up a Glock this fall and really enjoy shooting it. Any feedback on that weapon?

Anyone else been in a buy/sell/trade mood with hardware?

Part 2: http://www.chiefsplanet.com/BB/showthread.php?t=293623

I would really rather have the LaserMax on it, but if not then I can buy one for fairly cheap ($80-$90) later on. Are they hard to install and sight in?

Where would I buy one though? pawn shops are out.

The last time I checked it was $379 without Lazer, and $450 with the crappy under barrel lazer.

Wondering if anyone on here had one they would be interested in selling. If not, have you ever bought a pistol online and had it shipped to a local FFA? How was the process?
I'd check in with Summit Gun Broker from time to time. He's out right now, but gets new stock in pretty regularly. I've bought from this guy before. Recommend highly.

If you are still wondering how to purchase guns online...

1. Got to the url: www.slickguns.com
2. Search: for "specific gun" in the search bar or use the sorting feature
3. Click: the link that will take you to a online store you can make the purchase.
4. Find a FFL using the url:http://www.budsgunshop.com/catalog/ffl.php
and or http://www.fflregistry.com/

5. Pay for the gun, but where it request fill out shipping information use the FFL's address.
6. Depending on who you buy from you make be required to tell the online store that you want them to contact the FFL. Some online stores will have the FFL that choose on record and other won't.
7. Eventually the online store will ship the gun and you will then either call up the FFL in its a person or business you could just walk in an get the gun(s).

I would add that you should contact your local FFL before purchasing and having anything shipped in. Some FFLs are not internet purchase/transfer friendly and will charge a hefty fee or make a hassle out of it. Others see it as business as usual and keep it smooth and cheap. You can normally tell by their reaction to asking about shipping one in if you should look for another FFL. Some of them also have specific shipping desires so it's always a good idea to iron out the details before hand anyways.

Had one, traded it. Never really cared for it. Grip is too short, even with the mag extensions. I'm much happier with my Smith M&P 9c, which fits my hand better and has a larger magazine (12 rounds of 9mm as opposed to 10 with the Glock).
