I think that there is some value in the shuttle/3-cone, as well as the OL drills. Not that they are the end all be all but it is interesting to compare that with their performances.

For the last few years you've been able to visually separate the (dare I say) "elite" pass rushers in the combine from the "rest" through most of the drills they run. Not to say any were truly elite, or that it all transferred 100% to the NFL, but to me, it seems like the closest "test" of any single group at the combine to translate to an NFL level. Watching Von Miller at the Combine was just nuts.

I'll have my eye on the OL drills just to see who can separate themselves on footwork alone at the RG position.
